Melika Foroutan is a German-Iranian actress born on September 6, 1976, in Tehran. She initially studied Philosophy, English, and History at the University of Cologne before pursuing acting at the Berlin University of the Arts, graduating in 2002. She gained recognition for roles in "Wut" ("Anger") and the TV series "KDD – Kriminaldauerdienst." Foroutan has appeared in various films and TV series, including "Pari" and "The Empress." She was awarded Best Actress at the Hessischer Filmpreis in 2015 for her role in “Louise Boni”​( Wikipedia ).
